Do you struggle with a stiff neck that's painful to turn from side to side? Here I'll show you a simple technique to work on increasing neck range of motion and decreasing pain.
Neck pain is one of the most common things I see in my patients, and I show this stretch to people all the time. Losing range of motion is one of the biggest factors that contribute to neck pain becoming chronic, so keeping your movement is crucial to maintaining a healthy neck.
If you or someone you know is having neck pain or limited motion with turning left or right, you can use this stretch called a snag to decrease your pain and increase your motion. This technique is what I use if I’ve woken up and my neck is sore or stiff, especially when it can lead to a headache. It's also helpful for when your neck "goes out on you."
